Excellent service. Food is good! Reasonable prices They have been around this area for a long time. They will do their best for their customers. Family owed good people! You cant beat their lunch special... Good! Large portion served with soup!

Food is so good! Always hot and fresh. Chicken salad is mmmm. Food is reasonably priced! We come here often!

We were in the area looking for a quick lunch spot and came across Golden House Chinese Restaurant. Located in a strip mall off Santa Teresa Blvd., it's a small, no-frills, unassuming restaurant serving Americanized Chinese food. We ordered a couple of lunch specials and they both tasted pretty good. Both were made to order and came out hot. The lunch specials included a cup of hot and sour soup. While we were there, customers were coming and going so seating wasn't an issues. Their menu is quite large providing all your typical food offerings. Price point is slightly lower than what we're used to. Portion size is good. Service was pleasant and friendly -- a nice change. If you're craving simple, quick, economical Chinese food, this is your spot. Much better than Panda Express.

Arrived here on a Sunday evening with a close friend for dinner! He highly recommended this place since he's frequented this restaurant with his work buddies a few times for lunch. We arrived around 6 pm with no struggle in finding parking! We came at a great time as the dinner rush was slowing down and a huge family just finished their dinner. We were sat immediately. The decor of the restaurant is dimly lit which creates a nice atmosphere for families to focus on each other and a great space for date night. We ordered 4 items: Mapo Tofu - the tofu had a silky, smooth, and firm texture. It has a great amber color from the sauce and jiggles well on my spoon! Super easy to chew and palatable- not a strong spicy taste to it. Great appetizer to start with the meats. Fujian Fried Rice: A mixture of scallops, black mushrooms, carrots and more! An excellent staple to our dinner that was versatile with the meats we had that night. The 4 Happiness - a wonderful variety dish that has the following meats of pork, beef, shrimp, and chicken! A medley of meats that paired well with a succulent sauce drenched all over. Mongolian Beef - my favorite was the beef since it had an excellent char that retained the smoky flavor on the beef. We didn't finish any of the dishes, and we ended up having so much leftovers split between us. Awesome portion size for the price we paid!

If you are craving authentic Chinese Food, this is the place to go to. Prices are really reasonable and the portions are amazing. To get the best bang for your buck, go for the lunch special during lunch hours (11AM-2:30PM) everyday. They also have a rotation of soups served during lunch hours every day. Definitely recommend!

We come to this parking lot often to charge our car and we've never noticed this place tucked in the corner, but I'm glad we did because we loved it! There were two of us in our party on a Wednesday afternoon and the place was fairly busy but we were able to find a seat right away. This is a family dining type of restaurant which is a little more upscale than the quick in-and-out type of Chinese places that I've been to. The beef fried rice was cooked perfectly and was not too oily. It carried a lot of flavor, not only in the beef but in the dish but on the rice as well. Honey walnut prawns were soooo delicious and filling! They give a generous amount and are sure to lather that sauce on the shrimp and walnuts. I ordered an iced tea and was surprised when they came around to refill it because I know some places just have you stick with the one cup -- this was a plus. We also ordered a chicken salad (not pictured) and we enjoyed that was well. The chicken in the salad is nice and crispy and all of the toppings went very well with the whole salad dish. Will be visiting again and bringing more people to try!
